Hello World
My Kubernetes + Raspberry Pi Adventure
It all started with a birthday gift: three shiny Raspberry Pis. As a late career changer who started with Kubernetes in January 2024, my first thought was the obvious one: Why not turn them into a cluster. Fun Fact: The wonderful gift giver had exactly that in mind :)
After a few busy months, I finally decided to getting started - and pushed myself further by submitting proposals to conferences in 2025, where I want to share what I’ve learned. 😇 So I thought about documenting my journey - want went (maybe surprisinlgy) well and what didn’t. (Already getting shivers thinking about all the networking involved 🫣). And well, that’s why this blog got started - again pushing myself to keep going :)
If you’ve ever been curious about building your own cluster or just enjoy a good mix of tech tinkering, trial, and error, I hope you’ll find this space relatable, informative, and maybe even entertaining.
First step: Figuring out what other hardware (and other stuff) is needed to get my hands dirty. Let’s see how this goes - you’ll get updates here!
